About us
At AM we can take a product from concept, through advanced development using CAD to produce stereolithographic models to final production. Our moulding capacity is spread over 15 machines ranging from 650 tonnes down to 15 tonnes lock - producing mouldings of up to 3 kilograms. We can also supply a wide range of post moulding services including pad & hot foil printing, ultrasonic welding, assembly and packaging to customers' requirements.
We have recently received the DTI's "Smart Award" for our technological development in the area of multi - material / colour mouldings utilising conventional production equipment and techniques. Advances that have resulted in large savings to our customers on tooling costs for smaller batches, and the need to expand into our larger purpose built premises.
Since the move our workforce has doubled, we employ an operations manager and have introduced shift working so that we can run 24 hours a day.
The extra space has also meant that we are now ready to embark on the next phase of our expansion - planned to include increased capacity, a change in our quality monitoring
system, staff training, a new tool room and an upgrade of our IT. We also plan to expanded our areas of work into producing more finished products including their assembly and
packaging.
